Hello
I’m Sarah,
I’m a passionate Nail technician and Educator and my vision is to help others through my knowledge and experience to achieve their goals. Through my time working with some of the most vulnerable people in our society I learned that we do not all have the same privileges and advantages and my aim is to provide the right support to enable everyone with a desire to progress in the nail industry. I have designed my courses in an inclusive way to provide equal opportunities for all.
I qualified as a nail technician in 2010 with NSI and worked as a self-employed nail Technician in various settings such as renting a desk in a Salon, from home and mobile.

My Story
In 2016 I took the courage to follow a dream of mine and opened a nail salon where I ran nail courses and provided nail services. During this time I trained with some of the best Nail Technicians in the industry, entered various competition categories and won the following awards in Masters acrylic Nail shapes & Photographic.
2017 voters choice photographic nail art
2018 3rd place nail art masters
2019 2nd place Photographic.
2019 was an incredible year for me where I achieved another dream of mine when I was asked to live demo on NSI’s stand at Birmingham NEC and was featured in the industries leading nail magazine Scratch.
The pinnacle of my career however was applying for a role with NSI as In-house nail artist, working with the incredible team at NSI Eccles has opened so many doors for me and really allowed me to share my knowledge, experience and creativity. I have used NSI products since day 1 and have always felt very aligned with their values professional and personal. NSI are such an ethical and responsible business with the aim to provide high quality products which I have had the privilege to use and promote with confidence throughout my whole career. In 2019 I was invited to attend NSI University with the incredible Global Educators with many other talented NSI nail techs and educators. During this time we were taught in depth about all NSI nail systems from gel to acrylic and the endless nail art possibilities. Then we were put through our paces demonstrating our knowledge on product theory and chemistry through written tests and our practical skills in extreme and advanced nail application techniques. I was in total shock and overcome with emotion when I was awarded the highest ranking Gold award, a real proud of myself moment that was a testament to all the hard work that I had invested in the previous years.
In 2020 I took a step back from the nail industry to begin my fostering during, during this time my eyes were really opened to some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people in our society. I felt so helpless and I went on an in depth journey of self- reflection and development where I learned some invaluable lessons personally and professionally.
After a four year journey in fostering and children’s residential care I have now gone full circle working towards my biggest goal yet where I can combine my experience and open an alternative provision teaching young people nails and supporting personal development and providing support that may sometimes not be accessed in mainstream education. Although I am not there yet and I know there are many obstacles to overcome I believe that with the right support and using my gained knowledge and experience it will be achieved in the not too distant future.
Today I am an Educator at NSI Eccles, an NSI Advocate, I run my own independent face to face and online Nail courses and provide Nail services.
